Job Description:
Under the direction of a radiologist, performs magnetic resonance procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement to obtain imaging for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Can assist the radiologist in interventional procedures. Serves as an ambassador of UTMC in the community, demonstrating our organization’s values, services, and mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic or MRI technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• ARRT Radiography registered with current ODH licensure or ARRT MR registered.
• ARRT advanced registry in MRI preferred if Radiography registered.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
